カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校（UCLA）で生理学を専攻し、医学的バックグラウンドを持つ。さらに料理やテクノロジーの知識も磨き、幅広い分野で活動している。現在は15歳の三つ子の母として子育てに励みながら、国際的なビジネスをリードしている。
